I managed to get my special weekend rate of ksh1,500 incl breakfast extended till Tuesday. For a top hotel that was good going.
I have also christened my blog by having gone on 2 boda boda rides. Yesterday was from the beach to the Zimbabwe bar and today from the beach into town; the blog is well and truly underway. On both occasions the afternoon was spent with my good friend Maina. Today was particularly fun sitting at a beach bar drinking Palm wine.
My next task is to demonstrate these activities by means of film and photos. I tried earlier and failed horribly…shall persevere however.
Tomorrow morning I head for Taveta.
