Awoke early this morning. The shower worked just fine, as did the hot water switch. I did the Sunway htl a gross injustice yesterday.
Great trip South on Mash Poa bus towards the coast. Tried something different …and the bus driver asked if I knew what I was doing !! I said ‘ not really ‘ , but I trusted my friend’s suggestion. If you don’t need to go into MSA city, then get off the bus at Mariakani..get 100 bob tuk tuk to Kaloleni…then a 200 bob Matatu to Kilifi. It negates the uncertainty of traffic jams and cuts the journey time by at least 2 thirds.
Checked into the Titanic for their ksh 1,500 special weekend offer. Rehema said she was sure we could do a deal for Monday. Met up with my mate mate Maina, but left him to it after a couple pints as the reggae music was too loud. However, enjoyed listening to many tracks/records that I was buying way back in the ’70s.
Hot chicken masala and a couple of pints at the Titanic and off to bed…
